This is a good story: So I won an expensive coin on ebay. There was 73 dollars sales tax on the coin and I asked the seller if I could spend a bit over $100 more to reach that over a thousand dollar law to avoid state sales tax. Cool now I could get a $125 coin for about 50 bucks. But of course I found something more expensive and the seller gave me a discount on that so I saved 100 bucks, awesome. As for the riddle, I think this will be a process of elimination to figure this one out. Riddle number 2: I won two very rare U S coins from my birth year. They are each unique, one-of-a-kind examples. They form a very nice set. They are the same denomination. They are silver. Both coins weigh less than the denominations correct weight. They both have awesome eye appeal. A US President is Not on the coin. They are both certified. What coins are in my set? have fun, errrror Edited by Errorcoins 07/06/2007 11:47 am

I'm going to guess a Double Strike of a '62 Franklin half. Sorry don't know how old you are.

If you were really old, I'd say 1917 SLQ's!

A double strike on a Franklin half would cost about 5 times (a guess) or more from what I spent. So No. errrror

You know your coins. You are very close, but the errors on the 2 coins are Not the same type of error.

Ok grace, either you have multiple monitors with every topic open waiting for them to "flash" with new info, or you need another hobby. I do hope you're independently wealthy and/or retired, because If I spent this much time on the forum at work, my IT department would be standing in my office. LOLOL. Regardless, well done, now how about PM'ing your answer in the first 5 minutes to give the rest of us a chance..
