Here is an 1823/2 overdate large cent. It does have some minor edge knock/nicks on obverse, and some rubbing/abrasion on the leaves on the reverse. The tone is somewhat darker than I as able to capture in the photo. How would you grade it? Thanks!

VF-35 details, looks like some rim problems.

Could go either way. Could be a VF details or they might knock it down a grade or two into the 20 25 range and give it a clean grade considering what it is and since the hits dont appear to be new.

This might make it into an XF details holder with a TPG but I'm also going VF30 Details.

either 25 or 30 but I'm leaning towards a solid 25

Many thanks for you opinions.
Would be great if this coin would grade cleanly, but I guess the edge bump and reverse abrasions do not allow it. It is very, very difficult to find early copper, specially pre-1800 dates without some sort of impediment.

Net VF with the rim bump clear wear. Attractive still, IMO. Like the surfaces and bet the color is attractive. Too bad about the bump.
