I tried to get two good photos of this 1909S VDB. I am open to ideas on what you would grade it at. Thanks.

Looks like it could be MS but better wait for the 'pros'. AU58 or better. A very nice coin!

The bust of Lincoln looks odd to me. It may be a fake.

It does look "odd" but if genuine it is one you would want to have graded by a TPG before you sell it.

I'm not convinced that 'coin' is authentic .... overall appearance is odd.

AU53, questionable authenticity. The S looks off, the bottom of the S looks like a ball serif, it should be blocked serif. Hard to tell with the given pictures, but I can't see the upper MM curve die chip which is on every SVDB. The biggest flag I can see is the dots on the VDB. The first two dots don't seem to be present, all of the S-VDB's have clear dots between each letter. Many regular VDB's have some or all of the dots missing due to filled dies.

Did you weight it I seen a brass/ copper fake from aliexpress that is similar but weight is way off ... the head / hair does line up, vdb left more but the central bar is b is tilted but not dots inbetween, s wrong font "Genuine Mint Marks will also display parallel serifs."

Agree with others that something doesn't look right. Maybe it's your lighting.

I know I wouldn't buy it the way it looks now unless I had some guarantees as to an extended return privilege.

The thing that looks weird to me is the eye. Something is not right with this one.

It is a 1909 VDB with a faked S.
The position of S is not in correct position.
VDB lacks clear dots between the letters.
It is A FAKE>
