Duly reported to ebay It's about time PCGS took these basement slabbers to task. They can do nothing but ruin PCGS's reputation in Australia and swindle many collectors by using the APCGS banner

Thank you... Odd, I could not get it to come up in a completed search at all no matter what. Just an fyi... All you have to post any more is the item number and the forum will automagically convert to a link to the item. 141239635978

I have purchased from this seller before and was happy with my purchases. Has a good seller gone over to the dark side?

A little bit confusing but all I learn't out of that is that it can't be a 1933 altered as the last 3 ends on the left side of the denticles which is correct. So what was it?

It looks to me to quite likely be a genuine coin. It has been cleaned and polished but apart from that everything seems to be in order.

To my untrained eyes, it looks like a fake, based on the following, but I could be wrong. Aust 1923 Ha'penny Rev Letter Comparison

I think it's genuine as well, I do know that fake 1923 halfpennies looks like the 2 that I have just wrote. It doesn't curve down up the top. Maybe we jumped the gun? I think the comparison picture is showing a lot of shadow due to it been cleaned. Nice die crack between the R and A

Actually reading more into this informative article, it says that only the 1923 halfpenny has a light die crack that extends from the base of the 2 towards the 9. When you mouse over the coin in question on ebay and it blows up, it shows a light die crack which is exactly correct. I'm now going 100% genuine and I will be apologizing to the seller for the email that I did send him without getting my facts right

Where abouts is this die crack on the ebay coin? I can't see it.

Looks to me like the 3 used to be a 6 & after blowing up the date I'm also wondering where this die crack is ?
