Okay so I picked this coin up for under $3 shipped... and thought it was EF.. but in hand I noticed that there is a lot of wear near the 7 o'clock position on the obverse side...

Your grade, opinions and input would greatly be appreciated as I have no idea how to grade a coin that shows pretty nice details but a high amount of wear in only one small area...

Well that's not too bad... at first sight I was a bit dissapointed and thought that this was going to go in with the "slicks" I have...but perhaps this will just take the spot of where the '46 would normally go...

I'd put it at VF-30 without whatever issue with obverse rim has, not sure what's going on there. Nice coin

It's not wear, the strike is off, just like the 46 I posted.
