I like I have a low-ball Standing Liberty quarter as my pocket piece. I didn't almost spend it, but when I was removing extra change from my pocket I almost removed it

That's a good idea, makes me wish I hadn't dropped the holed Kennedy I found into Walmart's self-checkout machine.

seeing Dasalo's post, reminded me that I have a holed Kennedy half dollar. I might put it on my second key chain.

I wonder if it had a string attached at one time to trick coin operated vending machines and phones?

A while back I found a Kennedy with a hole in it from a bunch I got from the bank. I never considered that it might be a hole for a key chain; I had always thought it was a pendant/necklace hole. I think I'll dig it out and put it on my keychain for some more wear.

I love that holed Walking Liberty half. Of all the places a hole could have been punched, they had to choose poor Liberty's head!

Aaaah CHIT Boards. Another useful and practical item, although kinda bulky at times, that has gone away with the Dodo bird. Now we use a paper form (couple steps back instead of forward?) and write the tools that we check out. I have a 1907-O Half that I use for a pocket piece...figures that I don't have a picture of it...I will post one once I get back to the house tonight.
