This coin seems too perfect. It is real? Polished up? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I couldn't tell you if that particular coin is real or not but I've bought several coins through them and all seem to be authentic.

I would say its authentic but is a problem coin and worthy of the body bag certainly not $180. Coin has been polished and rubbed causing scratches. nlp

Looks authentic, with AU detail but the parallel scratches indicate it has been abrasively cleaned. The cleaning is not horrible but it would qualify this piece as a "problem" coin. With PCGS showing a price of $215 for a no-problem MS-60 I'd say this coin is no bargain. If you want this date I'd keep looking.

Real. Looks closer to XF/AU than it does to AU/BU. Why not just call it AU and be done with it.

Some dealers amaze me.

There is a guy in the paper money business that grades his stuff based on optimism. He calls a "very good" note "almost fine". A "very fine" note is "almost XF".

I hate that crap!

the seller is pretty good I've purchased many coins from him in the past. Always easy to deal with. The coin is genuine from what I can tell, don't see anything that would dissuade me either.

It does appear to have been cleaned at one time, and I would also grade this one at XF/AU details. Price? About 40-50% too much for this coin IMO.

Over 6 millions minted so one in that grade is not uncommon. Also, remember not a fantastic coin to collect so the price is OK but nothing great. Looks real and decent. May have been cleaned but so what. Nice condition.
