This is probably the coin I have owned for the longest time in my collection. My late father gave it to me as a birthday gift over 20 years ago when I was a young child. At the time, I was not too interested in coins, but I kept it anyways. My grade requirement for IHCs is VF30, and this coin, while close when comparing to modern TPG grading standards....still does not quite make the cut.  It is an exceptionally nice and clean coin though...so it may end up being one exception in my set. Can you guys grade it higher for me for sentimental purposes? lol  grade? thoughts?   |

John, why not take it out of the set and keep it seperate and upgrade ?
There is no rule that says you can't own 2 08s cents.
Put your dad's in a nice fancy holder and put it somewhere where you can see it daily.
Nice way to remember him by.
