Just wondering if anyone has any coin hunting plans for this weekend. My plans are to go get about $100 in cents(pennies) and maybe one box of nickels! I'm hoping for about 50+ wheaties and at least one War Nickel!!  |

In the expectation that most Americans will be off picnicking, watching fireworks, guzzling beer in the park or on the beach, I'm going to sit on ebay to get lots of bargains in their absence. |

No major plans for the 4th, mostly I'm going to wait for Tropical Storm Arthur to blow through the New England coast.  Also I'll have to hunker down while the (illegal) fireworks explode right next to my house all day. Seriously, my neighborhood is like a war zone this time of year. Oh, well. Happy 'Murica day to you all!  |

Besides working, house cleaning and yard work?  I just hope I'll find some time to spend with some new coin books, and my 2¢ pieces, and maybe, just maybe if the skies are clear, get a little astrophotography in at nights. I will be fishing, the outdoor version of coin hunting. you never know what you will catch. The more you search, I mean fish, the more you find, I mean catch! Your find might even be rare, or a record!
Specifically I will be carping in a canal, hoping to land some toothless corn-eaters. :-D

Same here, but at least it will be gone from here by late Friday so I will hitting the beach with the AT Pro. Was gonna do it tonight but my boss (the one at work) cancelled those plans. We got a priority one wing spar shipment come up and it has got to go. I will still leave early tomorrow and grab a couple or three boxes of cents to get me by until Arthur rolls past. Quote:

4 boxes of halves and a box of cents and nickels tomorrow.
Have to dump first thing Saturday morning and then take that money and go and pick up my normal Friday closed for the holiday boxes of halves, hope to score a 5th box of halves from a bank I know that stocks one but I never have a Saturday off to get it, get a box of dollar coins from my Friday half bank to search and then pay my credit card bill at Sears on Monday, go through all of the halves and dump them at Chase before 2. And if I have any time left I have 8 boxes of cents sitting in the garage I need to go through.
