Tim Stroud Pillar of the Community United States 2661 Posts	Posted 07/11/2014 8:34 pm So I left my number with several jewelry stores in the area that buy scrap gold but do not want to deal numismatic items. It has been a long while since I have had any leads but I got a call yesterday to go look at some coins and bills. The shop owner says the guy is a motivated seller. I made a couple of calls to local law enforcement to see if any coin thefts have occurred recently since the guy was "motivated", and got the all clear. This is what I got. The dude asked $300, I would have gone higher but did not feel like arguing with the man. Report this Post to the Staff

I would have offered $350 for this lot, but he named his price before I could make an offer so I took it. The 2 Franklins in the first pic were covered with PVC. I soaked them for about a hour before taking the pics. I have to put them back in for a while when I get back home from work as they still feel a little sticky. Report this Post to the Staff
