The general cultural paradigm seems to be that people are either lucky at certain times or they are not, and no amount of lucky charms, lucky rituals etc will change this very much. Tom Goodheart Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 856 Posts	Posted 07/13/2014 3:07 pm Mercury dimes are supposed to be lucky. Especially for gamblers as Mercury is the god of chance. Mine is '44, the last leap year of issue. Leap years supposedly being luckier than others. Report this Post to the Staff
