After a few months of working on this set, I have finally completed it. I was able to complete the set for only $106 total among all the coins. A big part of how I accomplished that is that I work at a bank and pulled some of these out of circulation (the War Nickel, silver jefferson, 1968 half, and a few others). I was also able to get most of the silver coins at or just above melt. And the Morgan was just 20 bucks. I am pretty proud of finally completing this set. Now I will look to start upgrading as I find good deals on nicer coins. Sorry some of the pictures are fuzzy, but it's the best I could do with my phone.

Sweet set ! I would recommend replacing the Indian cent first when you upgrade.

That's pretty decent for only for only 'a few months'.

Yeah, the IHC definitely needs an upgrade. I got 3 for a dollar though, so it was a good deal. That was the best of the 3. My main goal now is to find some nicer examples of some of those older coins.

Can you tell me what folder or album this is? I was wondering last week if this kind of folder exists and here it is.

Very nice set! Some coins could be upgraded for a small fee, like the Steel Cent and the Silver Nickel.

That's pretty good for $106 even if some upgrades are in order. I have come to really appreciate albums and Capital Plastics set holders. Congrats!

I actually found it. It looks like this Harris folder.

Although, I'll probably spring for the Whitman or Littleton 20th century album since it allows viewing both sides of each coin.

Nice job!

I would recommend getting an album to replace the folder so you can see both sides of the coins.

Next step...DANSCO 7070 (Major U.S. Types 1800 - date).

I don't have the money to do a 7070. At least not for a while. I think for now, I'm just going to focus on upgrading a few of the coins in this set that I can get relatively inexpensively. I don't really like to spend any more than 30 bucks on any particular coin.

Nothing wrong with that. There is a lot to collect in that price range!
