I just received this very nice brown and red 1909-S Lincoln Cent. It's a coin I've had on my "must buy" list since I was in ninth grade back in 1971 and a friend of mine in science class thought he'd found one in circulation. (He hadn't.) Paul Bulgerin

What could it be, MS60 or MS61? Either way, nice.

Thanks for the comments. It looks uncirculated to me and is definitely original. The surfaces are pretty clean.

Nice pickup. I've always considered these under-rated.

Guess you didn't want to share the price, HUH? Really nice coin. Do you put them in Albums?

I picked it up for $142. I put in a bid, went to bed figuring there was no way on earth I'd win it and got a very pleasant surprise the next day.
I keep my coins in individual holders. I collect U.S. coins by type, so I don't have a whole lot of them. I mostly collect ancient Romans.

Excellent deal. I got a VF specimen at the last Baltimore Whitman show for $130... you did good!

It's definately in the Mint State. There isn't really a trace of circulation.
