Found this in pocket change. I believe it's the 1MM-002. http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds

wow...pretty obscure RPM. it may just be. your image seems just a bit too blurry for me to see it on your coin. I hope your right, (you seem to be right on most of your attributions).

I may have a different opinion now that I see my coin serif division is slightly east. The 002 the division of serifs is north/south. Hmmm

Adam: When you take macro images of the mint mark area, when you focus; do you focus on the tops of the devices or on the field below the devices. If you have that option, it is best to focus on the field below the devices. You will get clearer images that way.

Also note the location of the mint mark. The 002 is further north and west of where your mint mark is located on your coin.

Sorry, tough picture to get. I find the glare and right lighting really affects the pictures, coin shines back. Here is one image that I put in B&W if that helps. I'll keep trying. Sun light was way over glare.

Coop, All shot are with my iphone and a micro lens, options with lighting and steadiness are external...makes it tough sometimes with coins that shine. I'd send you the coin if you'd like to look at it.

So far I'm not seeing a RPM. The bottom of the mint mark was probably hit by a coin wrapper, thus flattening the lower SE area. The upper serif looks like a slight machine damaged area. (Note how it reduced the size of the upper serif?) So it would be a waste of postage to send it to me. Sorry

Here is one I found a few years back. I've never found a number for it yet. But it illustrates how the upper serif on a RPM could look:

Note the spread on the upper serif.

I just did an overlay for my coin and the 002, and it is a dead on match. Another mystery solved.

Seeing the difference helps train the eye on what to look for.
