If this was a real one, it would be CC1 at least. No way it is real, yet the fakes keep coming fast and furious on ebay.

I love this crooks disclaimer:
"Ok so I got this larg cent and don't really know much about it. Just putting it up to see what I can get for it. Thanks

On Aug-31-14 at 21:29:45 PDT, seller added the following information:

Just so everyone know that this coin has not been certified by anyone or any company. And I do not know the difference if the coin is real or fake or reproduction please look ar the pictures that are provided and make your own judgment."

Maybe this is the right time for me to sell my 1793 on ebay? It's the rare phone/fax reverse.

Not a chance that's real. You'd be looking at a 7 figure coin if it was.

I'd be willing to bet if it was a real strawberry cent it would reach 8 figures!

I trust our experts to know the difference ... in this case I can see it myself.

Thanks for sharing the coin ... alas still listed on the Bay as it's nearly impossible to get a coin removed post their evaluation team.

Says he doesn't know much about the coin (and presumably coins in general), yet has this perfect title "Strawberry Leaf RB Flowing Hair" etc. Yeah, we'll just pick the variety with 4 examples known.

Who knows what the winning bid on this will be..

Two varieties with a total of four known between them. One is unique and one has three known.

Classic weasel words--if he suspected it had any chance of being real, he would have found a qualified dealer to appraise it in a heartbeat. As it is, it's a laughably modern looking repro.
