Facepalm. More uneducated buyers. Someone will learn a very valuable lesson and of course, no returns. Unbelievable.

I would stay away. Doesn't look good to me.

I always cringe when I see someone throw away that much money on a fake.

Looks fake. The VDB is off, and the "s" looks funny. Bad photos are a huge red flag.
ZERO FEEDBACK AS SELLER

Details are softened. A better copy than most of the crap that passes through but an obvious copy nonetheless. I've actually stopped feeling bad for all the idiots who throw away their money on stuff like this. If they won't take the time to to be educated and will throw away that much money on something they don't have enough knowledge about to identify then they deserve to lose it.

Thanks for all the opinions. It's good to know that I'm getting a bit better at spotting suspicious coins. But I know I still have a long way to go.

I too have stopped feeling sorry for these ignorant buyers of fakes.
Years ago I use to contact the buyers (when their ID's were readily visible) of these fakes and tell them of their mistake.
Not any more.
My only tip for these buyers is to quit the hobby and take up stamp collecting.

100% fake. If you can't determine the authenticity of an SVDB do NOT buy a raw one, especially from ebay. Stick with a slabbed example and you'll be good.

100% fake.
The scary thing is if the Buyer is ignorant enough to buy that coin they are ignorant enough to leave the Seller glowing feedback, too!
Watch the Seller's feedback over the next few weeks and see what happens.

Letters are way to big and mushy. Terrible pictures. 100% fake. It always amazes me to see what unknowing souls will buy on ebay. If you don't know, buy the book first and ask an expert. Also, with all due respect to BadThad, be careful with slabs too. Slabs generally are good, but they can be faked as well. No substitute for personal knowledge about what your buying. Especially when your buying rarities and highly faked coins.
