I have little problem with them as they all appear genuine. I see three pieces of eight of Charles II from the Spanish Colonial mints of Lima and Potosi.
First coin is a 1691 from Potosi, Assayer "VR" with one date, three mint marks, 1.5 Assayers and 1.5 denominations. It has odd toning as though from sea salvage that has been conserved.
The second is 1697 from Lima with assayer "H" with two dates, one mint mark, two assayers, and one denomination. It has pleasing toning.
Third is a 1696 from Potosi with assayer "VR" with two dates, two mint marks, one assayer, and one denomination, along with an old hole, and Central American Republic (CAR) counterstamp of volcanos, which seems fine and proper. This coin also has a pleasing tone.
None seem especially clipped. All should weight near full weight. In terms of rarity they do vary with the 1697 Lima piece (coin #2) much scarcer than the 1696 Potosi coin (coin #3), and with (Coin #1), the 1691 Potosi piece somewhere in between the other two with regard to scarcity. Coin #3 has to be discounted for the hole unfortunately. All together they might be valued $500 more or less for the lot. These coins will get buyers attention if advertised using the words "pirate booty." They may well have been. Cool!
