I'd appreciate any opinions on this one. To me it could be any of the above mentioned errors...

It is a rim Cud. Note the die has no area missing. The die is fine, the collar is breaking down.

It looks like it could be a rim Cud. Rim Cuds are on the die and not on the collar. Dies have a thin recess around their edge that forms an area on the coin that I think is called the design rim. Collars only come in contact with the coin on the edge and do not contact the rims of either side.

What a great group of people the CCF family is! I felt as if this was a rim Cud but didn't exactly know why. Thanks to those who replied, I now know why. Thanks so much for another lesson learned.
