Hopefully, the lesson wasn't too expensive. Sometimes, instead of Carson City, a CC mintmark stands for Chinese Counterfeit. There is a variety of Morgan dollar that can be cherry-picked, if you're lucky. It's a 1900-O/CC mintmark. Keep your eyes open for that one! Happy hunting ... Report this Post to the Staff
