Someone's collection must've been broken into, because the convenience store clerk from last week had some "really shiny half dollars" and upon closer inspection, they were all proof coins! She also had some nickels that likely came from the same person, and the total face value of everything was five bucks, so I traded a five for all the following!
Half dollars: 1976, 1978, 1979 x2, 1980, 1984, 1991, 1994, 1995
Nickels: 1976, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984 (unfortunately has a stain by the date), 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995
That's at least 13 proof sets that were busted open, so I hope this was someone who willfully broke them open rather than stole from another person's collection...

Nice finds! Could also be an heir wondering why the deceased has kept all these shiny coins.

My dad (who doesn't collect, but has spotted the color of silver on occasion) pulled this beauty from his change the other day.

I found these two in a generic coin sorting machine at a local store. They are well-worn veterans that are getting their well-deserved retirement. This is the first Walking Liberty half and the first Mercury dime I have found in circulation. This might be my best "Coinstar" find yet. The next day, I found a silver 1965 Canadian dime in another coin counting machine. Hip hip hooray for free silver.
