Some lines look like they go across the neck and under the chin. I thought they would only go in a circular motion. Thanks for sharing!

I see a lot of cross hatching.... Could this be oxidation from canvas while in a bag?

The cross hatching and the lines under chin I think are a plating issue. Let's wait to see what coop has to say. John1

There are lathe lines on the outside edge. The NW/SE lines are light die polishing to remove a clash. Note how the flow behind the design and disappear on the bust edges. They are touching the lathe lines above the date area, but not as strong as the lathe lines. The lathe lines are stronger on unpolished die examples.  But still a nice find.
