Guess the grade!

This coin is actually an edited version (read:doctored) version of this one graded MS69 on PCGS website. It's actually an 1881-S

Can't grade without a reverse picture.

Try again, ChildOfTheWheat.

By the way, this was graded by PCGS and in a "rattler"

Well, I can tell you what it's not, and that's an 1881-O. That is a tremendous condition rarity in Mint State, and 66 is Top Pop.

This isn't a 66. I know what it is, actually, and anyone who knows Morgans well should.

No, I'm pretty sure it's one of the San Francisco MS69's.

PF65. If it's not a proof, then MS65DMPL, but I think I have it right with my first guess (obviously, I also don't think it's actually an O).

Shale,
The black I believe is shadowing of the cartwheel luster and what you are seeing here is a cameo affect caused during striking with newer life dies.

There are New Orleans branch mint Proofs (one or two depending on who you believe) but 1881 wasn't one of those years.
