I had a hard time getting the lighting right. The obverse is close but the reverse is not quite as brilliant as it appears. What grade do you think ICCS gave this coin?

AU 50---but if I was a grader I would give an extra grade up to AU55 for that reverse----I have never seen such a polar difference example as this one! Fantastical!

Considering the standards that ICCS uses I grade Canadian coins using ANA standards, then lower it ½ to 1 whole grade. That would make this coin XF-45 or AU-50.

I thought the grading on this was rather harsh. Thanks for the input. Looks like it might be worth re-submitting this one

Whoa... EF-40? That is really harsh. This deserves atleast an AU-50.

Obviously the "20 cent expert" had called in for a "sick day" at ICCS. I also wonder how far back that coin was graded. So far 'off base' that it's scary.. All grading companies are dropping the puck far to often to instill any confidence any more.. It damages the hobby...
