So I got this $5 back in change today and it instantly caught my eye. Not usually a paper money collector but I thought it was interesting. Any info on how collectable these are or is it just a spender?

I am no expert but I do collect US Paper Currency. I would say that someone may pay a premium for that note based only on the repeating number 1.. however the condition is not so great and its not a STAR note. You can always throw it up on ebay and start the bidding at $10.00 and see if anyone takes a stab at it. Other than that.. I personally don't think there is much more over face there.

Yes, it is a true binary, in that it's two digits are one and zero. It's definitely a keeper!

Nice find!

Check out coolserialnumbers.com. Look at the binary notes they have for sale. The older notes and the notes in CU condition are worth quite a bit. Also, check the bay for sold prices on similar notes.
