Same goals I've had for most of my adult life:
1) Find a career in which I can make enough money to own my own home
2) Find a woman whom I can eventually call my wife and then have a family together.
I don't think those are too much to ask for.

Like someone else mentioned above, last year I think I set too many goals because I didn't finish most of them. Life tends to get in the way of hobbies, so I'll set some less-aggressive ones and then reassess in 6 months. I think I'll have to tape these to the inside of my safe so I see them every time I open it...
1. Finish up my Eisenhower Dansco (8176). I have most of the Ikes, just need to get them in the album and then fill 3-4 holes. 2. Add 5 missing proof ASEs (Any from 1986-97 & 2010) 3. Add 5 oz. Silver bullion / month 4. Set up an organization system for loose coins that don't have homes in tubes or albums. Probably the standard binder with 2x2 flips setup. 5. Add 20 coins to my JFK half dollar album (Whitman 9127). Upgrades count.
I think those are doable!

Coin goals include stuff mainly for The Black Cabinet's holdings:
- Finish the database update and bring the database up to date with holdings. - Obtain one of the tungsten-core counterfeit Gold Eagles that hit the market in June. - Obtain one of each of the major varieties of copper/brass-core counterfeit Silver Eagles that circulated in both the greater NYC area and Canada in 2013-2014. - Obtain a 1900-O Micro O to complete the Micro O set. :-) - Finally get the CNC engraver to work so I can begin permanently marking all of the holdings that aren't already labeled.
I'm sure more will come to me later.

Me as well! I Barely have any knowledge about counterfeit coins but just by looking at the site. Very user friendly, easy comparisons between the real and fake. Very nice

1)Finish my Canadian Dollar 1935 - 1986 album: just missing the '47 maple leaf and 1948. I have the Armpriors and major varieties. 2)Pick away at the 1937 - 1952 50 cent piece collection but not in a hurry to complete this year.

Punman, please do share the 1948 dollar if you do get it this year. It's a piece I can only admire at the moment.

For me it will be: 1. Complete my ASE Collection. I need 4 more including the 2015 2. Complete my circulated JFK Half Collection.. still need to fill 9 holes 3. Once complete with those coins, I may try and start a Dansco Album for Franklin Halfs in circulated condition.

I've decided that, as a kind of challenge, I'll try to get as much of a historic Russian low-denomination* type set as I can on a reasonably small budget (I'm not yet sure what would the restrictions be though, or if I'll even formulate them - I'd say $2**, but for many of the types even $1 is way too much, while a less common type could well be a bargain even at $3). It's kind of an expansion of my old kopek type set, and the kopeks would still be the main focus (so yes, I'd have two of them now, or possibly more if a cheap upgrade comes up), but this time I want to have more variety.
Chances are, I won't get enough opportunity (i.e. coin shop visits) to really advance in any significant way. But whatever.
...Somewhat more seriously, I really want to properly graduate from (the bachelor's degree part of) my university.
*) I wanted to say "base-metal", but that would include cupronickel commemoratives, and wouldn't include wire money; and of course I'm entirely aware that there are dozens of expensive types, which I obviously wouldn't be getting **) I'm using current exchange rates here, obviously - in practice, of course, I'd probably think of it in terms of rubles, which might well be a very different dollar amount later in the year
