Can't say I'd ever use this personally, though I'm sure that many collectors will immediately sign up and begin submitting certified coins to them.

Not sure if WOW or WEIRD should be the response. Definitely a "niche" TPG. They need a new website designer...first.

I can't seem to find anywhere on their website what the MAC sticker looks like. I'd think that might be a fairly important thing to build brand recognition.

Holy cow, look at the enhancements options they'll attribute

http://macablege.com/wp-content/upl...E-PATENT.pdf

Buffalos with full split tail?

Washington quarters with full split beak?

Walkers with full split thumb?

90% red copper coins?

Is this what it's coming to?

If this was a parody of CAC I'd think it was hilarious but this seems to be for real. Oh boy.

-edited to add that I found quite a few coins on ebay already showing up with the sticker.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...c&_sacat=253

They're mostly by the seller called macabletrading (130 out of 151 current listings). Gosh, isn't that a coincidence. That seller has been around since 2000 and just changed their name September 2014. They've had 6 different names over the years. http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...cabletrading

To make matters worse, they misspelled their own name on their store where it's called Macable Tracting.

I guess I know what the sticker looks like now.

Love how most of his coins, with his MAC label are 20% off. I don't think that's the type of thing someone wants when praising their CAC rip-off.

Sure could have fooled me. That looks like it cost them maybe $50, and maybe 2 hours.

GE stickered coins pertain to traditional coins, 1800 to 1940 based on being a First Strike or the top 10% of the mint state grade of the coin

The mere fact that one can now determine that a 200 year old coin is "First Strike" just astounds me.

We created this new market, invented, copyrighted and defined these new GE series terms, listed below.

All you need to do is invent new designations and everyone's on board automatically? Nifty. And copyrighted too...Tbone, you'd better put the â„¢ after all those designations. You don't want to get CCF in trouble, do you?

The second revolutionary change is now coming with the fragmentation of full grades into half grades and designations to the Mint State grade with a star or a plus + sign

As MAC & GE prices of certified Mint State and Proof NGC and PCGS coins continue to rise in value

Do they have any proof of "continue to rise"? Where can I see auction results? Plus 20% off ebay listings...

I love their phone and email.

I'll have to get around all my slabbed coins and send them to this company. I fully trust they will become "lost" in shipment, and there I'll be.

I also found the 4-FS sticker funny Jefferson nickels with 4 Full Steps, but what if your coin has 5 or 6 Full Steps?
Nost of these designations are ridiculous at best. Though the 90RD for 90% Red copper coins intrigues me, are they going to guarantee and offer a buy back at current market pricing if one they certify changes to less than 90% Red over time? That would be worth it then.

I also can't believe they actually spent $150K on that website!

Looks like it's Alan Hagar (AccuGrade) after further diving into their website, there is even a video of him holding up a paper on MACge playing in the background of one page.

That address is part of a default page from some template. Google search for 2500 Castle Dr, Suite F-2 Manhattan, NY 10282 turns up 14,900 hits!

Since they only have 17 diffrent enhancements I think they should consider adding these 3 to round it out to 20.

90SFH (90% of the holder is scratch free)
MBWCC (Might be worth considering a cross over)
NUAC (Never used at a Casino, this only applies to Ike dollars).

I think I'll start grading the plastic itself. I'll bean it based on scratches.

Just another way to grab your money and totally unnecessary.
