That's too cool.

Nowadays, all you have to do is sit around, and they'll spam your email Inbox with it.

Wow! a blast from the past.

I remember seeing ads for stuff like that. I'd love to see the stuff they sent out as 'course' material.

I love all my old micronauts comics and Manly men magazines I picked up over the years primarily because of all the old ads. Become a blank belt in akido, start a coin business and get buff like Charles Atlas!

Reminds me of the ad that seemed to be everywhere, of the skinny
guy on the beach, gets sand kicked at him by the big guy, then
the skinny guy buys the product, and comes back to the beach...
I forgot what it even was selling. Just remember the cartoon drawing.

That was the guy I was talking about, Charles Atlas! The whole thing was body weight exercises.

My comics had ads for Sea Monkeys and X-ray specs. I might still have one or two somewhere... ads, that is.

Wow, I never thought I'd hear people pine away for the days of junk mail!

I must have seen an ad in Numismatic News, which I subscribed to at the time.

I was once that skinny guy!
Now, my belt line is much bigger; no one ever kicks sand in my face anymore - they all look the other way!

Actually anyone who sells via ebay is a small time coin dealer, just don't get too big, otherwise the IRS will eventually catch up with you.

That guy has a few pounds of mass on me. Could be my bodyguard though.
