This one looks fake to me ... What say our sharp-eyed, CCF members?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1877-1C-BN-...em58be650548

I've been following this seller for awhile. She(?) has sold a number of key dates, all of which seem to be damaged, discolored and/or evidence other problems. The pics are always taken at an angle, too.

I cannot give definitive judgement given how poor the images are, but it does not look good to me. If the strike retreats all the way into the field as it seems it does (around Liberty's ear, etc.) it cannot be genuine.

EDIT: After further examination, there is no doubt. This is a fake.

I don't like it.
I would avoid simply because of the pictures.

That seller sells a lot of fake coins. Have had my conversations with her in the past on the 1922 no Ds that she sells. Tried to report to ebay but nothing happens. Crook supreme!!

edweather ... Yes, I'd reported a few of her prior offerings. I've reported this one, too. I'm surprised that her feedback doesn't better reflect the number of fakes she's sold!

If they have a history, perhaps a hypothetical test case to add more consideration to this thread: https://goccf.com/t/198275?
