Darryl The "wow" factor will be difficult to sustain for this last glass coin... Could not have been easy for the glassmaker to work with this design... Could there not have been a better choice rather than a turtle... Why not a colourful earthworm? Within the food chain of the frog.

@ Electrum
I was expecting this series to go out with a Bang not a Bust.
I was really caught off guard when I first saw the turtle.
Oh well.

The one key aspect about this glass coins series is that each coin is an original one of a kind...as each glass is blown and shaped by hand. Each coin does resemble the other but each will be slightly different. I've got different shaped and different colored frogs...slightly...but definitely noticeable... The variations will be greater with this final bigger glass subject matter...More color variation are evident.

I asked my rep to also add a few of the NON-silver ones. (as I have with all previous issues for gifts for the kids)... "there will be no 25-cent coloured cupronickel versions of the turtle coins" was his response.

Quote: How many were you able to order Dcadon? I do not see any limit mentioned in Rep mail. Except this, I believe, people have good relationship with the Post Office, so they could order few coins extra. In shock I guess will be the buyers, when they will discover on public release, that the coin is available for CAD 149.95 .

In shock I guess will be the buyers, when they find out the ebay seller has oversold when they can only get 2!

Anybody can get more than 2 without any difficulty not sure what the problem would be, I had at least 20 of each except for ladybug from different dealers and Mint this will be no different. Wait 6 months and it will be on sale in many places.
