You are right in your earlier post westernsky, they are near as rare as hens' teeth and the RedBook nor graysheet accurately reflect their prices.
The Seated Liberty halves will be most difficult set I have ever encountered.

The 1879-1890 very low mintage rates, the incredible scarcity of the 1874 CC, 1878 S and CC halves plus the massive (and not well-documented) melting of many of the freshly minted Half Dollars make this a difficult series to collect.

It's either gonna be a lot of fun or drive me crazy, Moe. Definitely a long term project. I'd estimate 5-10 years for a nicely done date set, IMHO.
