I know I have mentioned this before but, I dont know why I have such good outcomes with the Black and white wrappers it was confirmed to me yesterday when I picked up my 3 boxes (From my favorite bank that usually only gets me the black and white wrappers) one of them was a brown and white wrapper box and guess how many silvers I found on that one? NADA! But the other 2 that where the white an black wrappers BINGO, LOADED of silver!!
24 of the ones I found were 1968-D IMO were CH BU, and in those boxes I kept finding many CH BU 1971-D's. Does anyone else have good outcomes whit the black and white wrappers?

I'm picking up another box from the bank that I dont get much silver from this is the last time I am going to get a box from there. I am picking up 2 boxes on Monday from my favorite bank. I will post results of todays box if there is anything to report.

Today I went to the bank and picked up 14 rolls of Kennedy's. There were only 2 dates, 2001 & 2008 with both P & D mint. There were just over 3 rolls of each date & mint To my surprise every coin in every roll was BU except for 2 halves.I can't tell you all the dates because I will be using them for a contest later.

Had good luck today on Friday 13th! Found 17 customer rolls at a bank which had told me before they never get halves in. Final count- 30 -40%! Was very happy as I too was going thru a dry spell! Oh yeah, and the young teller asked me if any of the Kennedy halves have any value! ( I did explain to him).

Nice finds to all! After a short dry spell, four skunk boxes in the last two weeks, I finally found some silver. The only keepers I found in the skunk boxes were 1 1977 S proof and about 20 NIFC 2009, 2008 and 2003 halves.
Yesterdays 2 boxes yielded:
Box 1 - 1 40% silver
Box 2 - 1 1964, 11 40% silver, 1 1991 S proof, 1 1986 S proof Statue of Liberty commemorative half dollar, and my first silver Canadian half dollar (1965).
Hopefully, next weeks boxes will be just as productive. Happy searching to all.

Yesterday I got $100 in customer rolls from a bank and found 1-1964. I stopped at another bank that had one roll and some loose, the loose ones had a 1966 and the roll had 2-1964 and 2-franklins. Then I picked up 4 boxes: 10-40%ers 7-1964 1-franklin 1-walker most were in 2 of the boxes, one roll had a 1964 on the end and when I opened it there were 2 more. I normally don't get that many 90%ers in one roll from a box.

I got a call from the bank they said they had over $650 in halves (Actual= $667). Problem: it was someone elses dump, so no silver. The plus side: a huge number of BU 96P and 2000D. As the year winds down, I am way behind my last year's silver totals. I need a miracle to even come close.
2009 JFK roll searching ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2009 totals
Total searched: 5184 coins ($2592) all customer rolled 40% silver: 55 (1.1%) 90% silver: 5 (2 Franklin, 54, 60D AU) NIFC: 97 (01P- 23, 02D- 1, 03D-1, 04P- 11, 04D- 3, 05P- 33, 05D- 16) Proof: 1 (89S) Other: 1974D DDO- 3

Went to a bunch of diff towns today to expand my searching. About 40 in loose from about 20 different banks. I don't know if anyone has dealt with
Peoples Bank
but their people and policies are completely asinine. I walk in and ask if they have any half dollars. She says and asks how many I need. I said I would take as much as they had. She then stops and asks me if I had an account. I say no and she completely shuts me down right there. Says that currency exhanges were not possible to cut down on criminal activity. Like anyone is laundering 4 twenty dollar bills into halves. Come on.
I make it a point to be completely polite the whole process whether they halves or not. (thanks for checking anyway for example) But when this lady completely shut me down and didn't offer to help me out I just gave her an irritated nod and walked out. Am I right to think Peoples bank is being completely irrational?
Other than that 1 90 and 1 40 found.

I'm in NC. I've had problems wiyh individual tellers at certain branches of banks....but not any problems with any one bank regarding the acquisition of halves.
