Not to get too far off topic, but do any of you ever go in and ask in any customer have turned in dime or qtr rolls? We may be missing somewhat of a gold mine.
I have the day off tomorrow and plan on going to several banks and asking for halves - will keep you guys posted.

Yesterday went through $12 of loose halves from 2 banks and found my first 1964! Can't believe I pulled that one.
Today I went through like $10 worth of loose halves and found another 1964 couldn't believe it!
went to 8 banks none had rolls, 5 didn't have loose halves at all.
a box is coming tomorrow hope the luck continues!

Silver, what silver, where? Box #3 for the week, zilch, zero, nadda, big goose egg, skunked. However, I did get a 76 proof in remarkable condition for the age and the following: 6 - 06D 4 - 06P 2 - 07D 11 - 07P (yes 11) 1 - 08P 1 - 09P So plenty of NIFC in very good condition. With that said, if anyone is looking for anything NIFC and needs to plug their album, I have quite a hoard of it and would be happy to help. All done with halves for the week, 2 boxes of nickels for the weekend. Have a good one...

First search of the year, just $5.50 but scored two 40%. It would be sweet to keep that % the whole year, but not likely.

I don't search too many halves, but I try to grab 5-10 rolls every once in a while. Well today while I was returning a box of cents, I asked the teller if she had any halves, she said someone brought in 12.50$ prior to my visit. Anyhow, one was a 40% and what I think is clipped. I've never found any clipped coins roll hunting or in circulation. Here are some pictures. http://img706.imageshack.us/g/69dclipobv1.jpg/

I got a bit crazy last weekend, and picked up $1270. in dimes from several banks. In all: 4 silver 9 Canadian 1 5 pence 1 10 cent Bermuda 1 diez centavos (Columbia) 1 2009-D (where are they?) 1 coin that had the word 'Jackpot' Guess the 4 silver dimes were the Jackpot. I did dimes a couple years ago, without any success, and this time was no different. The only thing good about rolling dimes (which I do) is going back to cents. The cents feel like quarters after doing dimes.
