It's starting to get very tedious again with very little reward.
I have 2 boxes of dimes for this week-end also as it's easy to dump them versus boxes of halfs.

Chuckster - you are probably getting my dumped halves from TD bank unfortunately. I dump all my halves at TD Banks in NJ! That's why I will never order boxes there!

Dang it, my bank didn't get my halves this week. I relieved the teller of a box of nickels and a box of dimes instead. I'll post the results under the appropriate forums. I'm hoping for a Mercury dime since I haven't found one yet roll hunting. |

Seriously, I stopped ordering any Brink's Boxes of Half's from the TD bank by me awhile ago, just an occasional ONE BOX here and there and it's always the same results- ZIPPO!
99.99% of my boxes are from other banks and they are all String & Son Inc.
I also use TD Bank primarily as a dump bank.

Been through alot of halves in the past 2 weeks (10k in Boxes, 2.5k ish in cust wrapped). Found 3 40% in the boxes. That is 3 in 20 boxes.  Found 3 90% and 4 40% in the cust rolls. 2k coming tomorrow. I also bought a new vechicle last week and paid my taxes in half dollars.  You can just imagine what the corpses at the DMV thought of that. |

I actually have a $500 box of bank rolled halves ... wondering what to do with them ... I do believe I will keep and sort them seperately to see what I end up with ...

Got skunked in my box today. I have 3 more coming in tomorrow, if they are not good I'm taking a break. Got 2 cust rolled today when the box came in 5 40% and 1 90%. Looks like I'm searching the wrong thing...

well, it is obvoius that the halves are well-picked......now it's probably a matter of being in the right place at the right time to find the CWRs.....of course, for the price of 2 boxes of halves one can get 4 boxes of dimes

Just laugh it off and chalk it up to having paid your dues. Come back from time to time to the same bank(s) and sample a test box. Remember, luck in this game tends to run in streaks. |

Went to a bank today and bought 5 rolls of halves. The 4th roll had a 90% Kennedy. I bought $2 in dimes from the teller's tray after spotting a white stripe. 1964 philly.

Hybes - did you wheelbarrow those halves in to pay the taxes? LOL -- they must've about crapped their pants when you plunked a couple hundred rolls of halves down on the desk!

Car taxes shouldn't be that much should they? I mean unless you are buying a Ferrari or something.

3 box total today:
1-90%er- 64P JFK.
3- 40 %er's
* 6- 40%er's purchased from teller's tray.* did better here than the 3 boxes searched!
2 more boxes left for this week yet.
