I wish our Conservative Party was as conservative as your Democratic Party.

In any event, those are cheesy coins. I'm glad we don't do that up here

No luck with halves this week. Went through $1,000 and was skunked. What a shame.

I have followed this thread for a while and I finally decided to give Kennedy rolls a go. I quickly found that organizing my stacks was a pain so I created some grids to help myself out.

the grids are for clad only 1964-current, no proofs, no silver proofs, or errors. I also created 2 separate "spots" for 76/76D because that seems to be the bulk of what I find. The end of the grids are blank so you can write in or stack whatever you want there. Please let me know if you find any errors or think I should include something that I have not.

I used Photoshop to create the original files and then exported them to PDF. Since I can only post images jpeg's will have to do for a preview. If anyone is interested in these let me know and I can provide a PDF with all the files grouped together.

Had a BIG day of half hunting today. I left the house around 8 this morning with my two sons for a day on the road, we mapped out about 220 miles that included about 38 banks...if they were all still there per the yellow pages.

We went through about $2,500 in halves and pulled 173 40% Kennedy's and 10 90% Kennedy's. We had a few banks that were gold mines...or silver mines as the case might be. Our first $280 yielded 59 40's and 7 90's, and had another $300 that had about as good of a return as well. It was a blast...I just think we'll use another vacation day or two this summer heading different directions.

I'm pretty sure much of what we were searching was "virgin" territory that was completely unpicked.

Wow!! You are a lucky man!! I'm sure your kids were so happy to find all that treasure. I almost never find CRR and I search all over! Keep up working the silver mind before someone in your area figures the game out.

$30 in CWR - skunked. It was a bank I'd never stopped at, and won't again, as when I asked if they had any halves - her answer was, "yeah, about $7K worth" I knew it would be dump.

Bought $30 just in case. Asked her if they were dropped off, she said yes, there is a customer who does about $4K a week and a couple more who do the rest. OK - no need to go there anymore - or any bank within 5 miles of that one! LOL.

Went through 6 boxes and 2 were skunks! In the others I found 9 40% and 3 1964. It was slow searching and I hope to find a decent box soon.
