$7.50 in loose from Suntrust yesterday. 1 40% (1966).

$40 in CWR today from a B of A. 4 90% (1964) and 31 40% (all 1968s)

One full roll of those today was all 40%ers. The others were spread out, except the 90%ers were all in one roll of bicentenials. All of the other coins were either 1971 or 1976.

In CWR I find ALOT of bicentenial rolls.

In the past 2 months of searching only CWR - I've tripled my finds from the previous 2 months of $500 bags.

Sdcoinguy,
I can't send you a message... It says I'm not allowed to. I don't know what that is about. I would love to talk to you about the air force. Please send me an e-mail at <<E-Mail address removed>>. I will be more than happy to answer your questions and give you advice.

SD - you can PM me regarding questions on the AF. I did 21+ years and still work for the Dept of the AF as a civilian now.........

Email replies will be sporadic - I'm headed to Europe on vacation next week, and will only check it occasionally.

I did a lot of coin roll hunting last year and had some very good finds. I have since then been cut off by my bank. They said that the shipping cost were too high to let me continue. I was just wondering which national chain banks have been the most helpful in allowing people to coin roll hunt. Thanks everyone.

so far, I've not had a problem with any of my wells fargo locations. it's been tough getting boxes of halves, just due to availability, but other than that, they've never said no to me asking for boxes.

Afcop13, that's a very nice haul on only 4 CWRs! B of A has always managed to elude us. We did manage a couple nice CWRs from there once, but that was quite some time ago, and we generally bypass those branches on our road trips, now. They outsource their incoming CWRs for counting because they don't have counting machines in the branches. That's why they very seldom have anything for us (...or, that's the story I've been told).

Yeah, this one particular B of A seems to have anywhere from $5 to $50 every week. I haven't had luck at any other ones.

You get rolls like those 4 every week and you don't need any other ones.

Guitarmonkee, the boxes are $500. If you have that kind of cash to lay out, it should be nothing for you to fund a free checking or savings account with the minimum balance. Why don't you just go out "bank shopping" and find out which ones will help you out, then open up there?
