Wow! What a find! I sure would hate to be the guy you stole his from! I'm glad you found some silver! I can't wait until I find my honey hole!

Thanks, heh. It was dry around here last year, but that just made up for it. Maybe it's the last bit of 2009's Great Coin Flush. There has to be more where that came from.

I went through 6 boxes in the last week, 3 unfortunately were skunk. 2 other boxes had 1 1964 each and the final box had 2 Franklins - 1 1957 and 1 1958. The 1958 was beautiful, it was by far the nicest Franklin I have ever found. It was just like looking at a mirror, it has to be a proof. Got four more boxes on the way for this week, hopefully there will be some silver!

Quote: The 1958 was beautiful, it was by far the nicest Franklin I have ever found. It was just like looking at a mirror, it has to be a proof. If it's in that good of shape and it doesn't cartwheel (i.e., just reflects from side-to-side, doesn't spin around), it's a proof. We found one just last week, a circulation-damaged '60. As an aside, we're on a real dry-spell. Interestingly, though, when we have scored, it's been pretty darn big. I don't have my camera, but, several weeks ago, we hit a '55, MS, easy, just covered with dark-blue toning, both sides. What a shocker that was, and in a $500 box that didn't even have so much as a NIFC, let alone even one 40% silver!

I haven't ordered a bag for 3 months now, but think I'll order one this week.

Searched my last two boxes. Only 3 40% Kennedys. I am feeling like my Dunbar boxes were better than the Guarda. I think I am going to get both types and compare. I am also thinking of trying a monster search next week - 10 boxes.

Florida: Waaaaaay nice pull... No posts from me recently as I decided to hold off on my 3 boxes a week. Will start up this late this fall when things slow down a bit. Will be doing a day long road trip and hitting some small town banks and pull what we can from there. Side note, a DOT officer friend of mine got an email from a small county law enforcement office stating an unusual deposit made at a small town 40 miles west of where I live. There was a suspicious deposit of $700 made in halves. I laughed, definately a roll searcher...

Stopped in a branch of my bank today and asked for half dollars. Out of $21 in loose halves I got a 64, 66, 67 and a nice 68. Better than some boxes I have done.
