Sorry SD - I actually dump into my bank's coin counting machine. It spits out a paper I take to the teller and she deposits or gives me the money. Like everyone else, I get my coins at a bank that uses one type of armed carrier and dump at a bank with a different carrier. I would guess that the boxes would make the dumping easier if you had to re-roll all of the coins. Probably, I would ask the tellers at the dump bank what they prefer.

SD,
I put the them back in the box and take them back to the bank. Sometimes I might spend some rolls (for gas or at the convenience store) then take the rest back to the bank in the box.

Thanks for the bit of info chuckster 125 I cashed in 5 rolls, 100 halves of 90% silver = $660.00 I still have one roll valued at close to $148.00. $660.00 plus $148.00 = $808.00- $60.00 = $748.00 of HOUSE MONEY! The 3 Peace dollars are xf-au The Morgan is proof-like, I really liked it so I bought it. The 4 coins together cost approx. $120 $748 (House Money)- $120 = $628 I think I did good because I would rather fill some holes in my album and get a coin that I want instead of having the silver. Again thanks for the information.

Searched my first box today. Total skunk. The coins had the same feel as the two skunks from last week - old, beat up clad with a lot of worn out rims.

I did $20 today in CWR - skunk. The teller had $400 - all in trays and let me look at them - ZERO silver. She asked if I collect and I said yes, so she asked if I wanted silver quarters. Well of course! She had opened a roll and noticed 4 in it - 4 in one roll! She said I could have two, she was keeping the other two. SO - not a total loss.
Its a bank I rarely go to, but she said if I wanted to come in weekly, she'd hold any silver she finds and split it with me. Awesome - another teller to take M&Ms to!
