Nobis1: 8 boxes and only 1 at 40%er!  That's not a good thing at all! Look on the bright side, it can only get worse if you get totally skunked on the next 8 boxes and I would think your odds are very good to do much better than zero or one! Hang in there, we are all only ONE Monster Box away every time we open up one of these suckers! (  ) |

Thanks Chuckster. 1 40% out of 8000 halves is amazingly bad. Worst run of boxes I have ever had. You are right, it can only get better. Next week I have 6 boxes coming. I may even try some dimes. How did you do this week?

the only halves I have never found in circulation is 1964-d, 1965, 1987-d and everything 2005 and up. This is only teh p and d sets.

Nobis, I had runs like that and actually stopped back in late May. Made my order for 2 boxes a week starting this week again. Lets see how this goes again....

Did another 2 boxes today and both were skunks. >.<
Hoping my two boxes on Thursday prove more fruitful.

I have been starting to search boxes again and in the past few weeks I would get 1 or 2 40% per box or just get sunks. My bank got me three boxes today and I picked up 2 of the 3 today.
My first box :
2-90% (1964) not to bad haven't pulled many in a while.
1-1987
1-1978 proof
Boxes 2:
3-90% (2-1964,1-1963)
88-40% wow
Tommorrow I will pick up box three, hope it's like box #2 :)

dang, 88 40%, that is great - especially when silver is almost at $25!! Sell those puppies and reinvest the proceeds in a nice key date!

hey all, I've got two questions, and then a report on recent finds.
1) has anyone had any success with boxes from bank of america?
2) if franklins and walkers are found, but have a hole drilled in them, are they still worth something?
finds:
went through 340.00 in CWR today:
4 40 percents
1 franklin
2 walkers
