Coinmania - Nice finds! Would love to crack a box and find that many waiting for me. That is almost 2 silver per roll.

well just finished another box of $500. 2 40% and a possible 74 D double die.

Third box had zero. Yeah just about every roll had at least one silver some even had 4-5 silver pieces.

um...confused coinmania, you said it looked like it had nothing and then it ended up having silvers or what?

Obla - I believe the latter part of his post he is referring to the previous post, where he stated box #2 yielded 88 40%'s for him, amongst a couple 90's.

Got my first box in forever over the weekend - a few NIFC, including a hole and some upgrades for my set. Seems like a lot of those semi-proof like D coins.
No silver though, but the NIFC coins are nice so it's not a total box.

NP CoinMania. I've still got my fingers crossed to encounter a box even half as good as that. Seems my dry spell has returned.

deltron have you tried CWR? I'm doing really well with those. I gave up on boxes after my 6th with nothing.

Nowhere in my area can I find CWR. All banks are required to run coins through their machines which are auto bagged. BoA, TD Bank, Chase, Harris, 5th Third, and Old Second Bank all do this. Halfway contemplating asking if I can just purchase bags off of them.

yeah man, that's where I'm kind of disadvantaged...nowhere around here will sell the bags. worst they can tell you is no.
also, some food for thought: a lot of credit unions and small 1 or 2 branch banks do not order coin, so they're much more likely to have CWRs of various coins. I was doing terribly in my area until I realized this.

I asked for halves at one of my dump banks and they had a whole box. I bought it, of course: 2 40%, 2 impaired proofs, 1 1982P no fg and about a role of NIFC including a 2010D. That's a really good haul for me - halves are especially skunky out by me.
I'm in Deltron's boat (and most of the same banks) ... I found 6 CWR once at a Wells Fargo and that's been it. Every so often I get get a few dollars worth loose, but even those are hard to come by. I probably have better luck with the loose teller coins than the rolls though!
