you know, I inherited a nice little stash of Morgan dollars, silver dimes, jars full of wheats etc. about 5 years ago and guess what? had a bad breakup, girlfriend stole them. |

My wife and I (okay, it was actually my wife because she wanted the boxes out of the house!) searched 2 boxes yesterday. First box, 6 - 40%, 1 - 90%, 1 - Franklin, and two extremely well struck Kennedy's. I can't remember the dates but they were Denver which seemed odd. Perhaps broken out of mint sets? She told me that the box has many great looking post silver halves in it. I should probably check them out for errors/upgrades. I've just been really burnt out lately.

I did two boxes, and that was enough skunking for me. Since then I just sit back and snipe CWR's. I live just north of a highly illegal-populated area, so I pull CWR's from two banks in that area whenever I get the chance. The "residents" in that area ignore everything that goes through their hands.
Someone has been putting 40% coins in circulation. A lot of em', gradually.
$50 in CWR's yielded two 40% coins. Picked up another from the teller's tray. So that was three there. Then a friendly teller I knew stepped over and gave me a silver roosevelt; insisted that I have it, she'd been saving it for me. I felt bad about taking it.

yeah a little tip I've picked up. I know it sounds bad, but seriously go to inner city areas--bad neighborhoods mostly--and ask for CWRs or whatever. your yield will be much greater bc these people have no clue.
the best finds I've gotten are in inner city.

I'm not - but thats pretty cool. from most of those years they are silver - can't remember how much.

Anybody notice the melt on a roll of 90% junk is $200, now? Makes one want to quit one's day job and take it up full-time.  |
