Nice going phil and rollseeker! I have experienced some bad luck lately as well, but yesterday I picked up $40 in CWR's and got 3 40%: 1 1967, and 2 1968D.

oof. 6 boxes----> 0 silvers.
looks like I'm on a bad streak again.
i had 2 last week that yielded nothing as well, so that makes 8 worthless boxes total since my last find.

absolutely. there's an agonizing feeling of defeat involved. the boxes just seem a little heavier for some reason.
i shouldn't complain too much though, I guess.

it's kind of weird...until last week, for three straight weeks I was getting boxes with at least a roll of 90% in each, and it just stopped all of a sudden.

There is a bank where I work and they got me a box. 45-40% and 2-Franklins. I received 2 more boxes and I couldn't wait to tear into them. Got through them and found nothing! It's just the luck of the draw.

i had a find two weeks ago that was amazing. it was something like 20 franks, 20 64 kens, 15 walkers, and 39 40 percenters.
so naturally I asked the bank if I could bump it up to 6 boxes each week and voila...nada.

That's how it works obla.. After my first "nice" box I went and mass ordered boxes from 2 banks and got heavily skunked on all large orders thereafter. I keep it to 2 boxes per week now, getting tired of all the footwork for little return. Now that silver hit 30.00 an ounce I'm honestly half tempted to do it again, but I'm going to keep exercising my self control... for now ^_^

The vault teller said he went through a whole roll of receipt tape today on the coin machine he said it was non stop today with people turning in coins- here to hoping

phil, I wonder if someone dumped those string n sons from another bank.. usually wells deals with those brown random no name wrappers..

On the banks with the coin machines I don't believe they sell the change out of the machine. It is picked up by armored car and rolled up.
