went through 7 brink boxes today. --------------------------------2-1964 --------------------------------2-bens -------------------------------18-40% --------------------------------5-clad proof not to bad. 85% silver all in one box? that seems normal.

The latest box wasn't great for silver, but it did yield some other nice things: 1 40% 1 1974-D DDO1 1987-D NIFC 4 other NIFC (05-P, 08-D, 08-P, 10-D) How often do you find the 87's, 70's, and 2010's?

I just completed my first Kennedy set. I have been collecting Kennedy half dollars since 1964, but wow what a job. Most banks in this are do not even carry Kennedy half dollar Rolls anymore, even though I was only interested in keeping my set Uncirculated Coins, I wanted to look through some bank rolls. I was able to get 10 rolls from my Credit Union and was happily surprised to get a full roll of 1976 Kennedy half dollars with most being in my humble opinion Almost unccirculated. I think my next Kennedy set if I do another will be to find one already completed. I know it's cheating, but the only way I would ever need another would be for a friend.

I had a very bizarre find in a bank roll today - a 1986-S half dollar. The Statue of Liberty is on the front and "A Nation of Immigrants" on the back. The proof versions on ebay go for 4-5 bucks - but this somehow made it in circulation so its value is obviously diminshed. Anyone seen these in their hunts?

The 4 box silver streak ended today with number 5. However the rolls did produce: NIFC 2005D, 2006P, 2007P; the 86-S Liberty Half mentioned previously and surprisingly about 3 rolls worth of Gem BU 1993-D halves! These 93-D's must of been sitting somewhere for a very long time - not a scratch on any of them!
