some how I lost 18 dollars in halfs.
#1=brinks messed up
#2=bank messed up
#3=my kiddo just went to target,didnt ask for money[she is 15]
gee I wonder?

i know I may be late here but whats with the 70's? I've noticed some discussion about them and keeping them, but I don't. should I since I come across a nice amount of them?

1970 is 40% but they were only included in the SMS set so it will be very rare if you run across one. 1974, I believe the D, you can find a DDO. However, when I checked ebay on the 1974 DDO they weren't selling. So, even if I found one I would probably just throw it back. Other then that I don't know of any other 1970s coin worth more than face. Others on this thread might know otherwise. |

I am new to this, never done a whole box but last week I did have pretty good luck. Out of six rolls got 3 40%s. Next day out of 16 rolls got 12 40%s and a '64. Went back to that same bank the next day and bought the rest of what they had which was 22 rolls, found 11 40%'s and 1 more '64. I have a question after reading this forum I keep seeing NCIF, what does this mean? Thanks guys!

That's quite a nice start scrapper! NIFC = Not Intended For Circulation. The most common ones you will find are 2002 - 2010.

i don't remember who asked, but the bank I use is a small credit union in the county. it's not a biggin. nonetheless, for some reason they order me boxes.
and I wouldn't get too excited over that sweet find I made. I went through about 14 with nothing before finding that one...seems to go that way.

ps--90percenters, it sounds like your girl made off with a few of your halves. tough call but i'd probably let her off for christmas, but let her know that I know.
