90% you have a legitimate reason...if they start cracking boxes and rolls you are not guaranteed that you are getting what you paid for...$500 worth of halves.
Nice find today!

LOL @ 90%.
I have 3 Capital Ones I use. 1 branch is 4 miles East, the other 4 miles South. There is another branch by my office. I was at the 4 miles East branch Friday and put $500 in halves in it and the bin was full. Not sure if they replaced it yet. 4 miles South, machine is out of order. The branch by my office, the lady broke the machine yesterday switching out the bag for me. I have my fingers crossed I can find a dump machine!

2 weeks ago I went through $4500 in halves and only found 2-90%. Then I got shorted $12.50 between 2 coin machines. Capital One said they would get back to me when Brinks counts the bins and gives them a total. Any overage would come to me. Yeah right, I won't hold my breath. After that fiasco week, I have cut down to 2-3 boxes per week. It's much more manageable. Anyway, I get my boxes from several different banks so I am not too concerned about audit.

Yep...when you add up gas I might have just broken even at current spot prices. However, I truly believe silver will see $50/oz.
Your wife will think you're a loon until you sell/melt the silver and come home with $100 bills!

Thanks everyone... that's why I like this website so much, nice people that get excited about stuff like this. Seems like the everyone is getting some pretty good finds over the holidays, and for those who haven't, keep on looking, eventually something will turn up! People may dispute me but I would get my hands on all the CWR's I could find, but I understand if you live in an area where they never have any you have to get boxes (just my Two Cents). @jbuck- Yeah there are a lot duplicates, especially the 1963's, but I'll take them anyways haha. I don't know if you remember but I had a huge score a few months back with half dollars so remarkably I have almost completed the Franklin set from circulation (still need a 1949S and a 1957 and I bought a 1949 and a 1955). @dylansdad, mercapri, obla, and 90%- You guys rock, nice finds! You know, I think of how many silver halves have been picked out of circulation and found by guys like us, how many are sitting in peoples houses waiting to be found, how many that were melted and how many that are floating around with coin dealers and it's pretty cool that there are still great finds to be had out there. Anyways, Happy New Year to everyone on the forum and good luck roll hunting!

Great finds everyone. I just am not able to find customer wrapped rolls of the halves. Hm. I know they have got to be around here somewhere.

CWR's are great until you find out it is someone's dump! I got 6 CWR's a few weeks ago and it ended up being 120 of those stupid 1976. Ugh...I would be just fine if I never saw another one of those!
