Yeah there are a lot duplicates, especially the 1963's, but I'll take them anyways haha. I don't know if you remember but I had a huge score a few months back with half dollars so remarkably I have almost completed the Franklin set from circulation (still need a 1949S and a 1957 and I bought a 1949 and a 1955).
That is incredible!

I completed about half of my Franklin collection from roll hunting in the 1990's, but eventually gave up on finding the remaining coins. I took a large stash of the duplicates to a local coin dealer and traded them for the dates I needed.

2 box total today: 12

2 @ 90%- 1952P & 1958P Franklin's

10 @ 40%

Much better than yesterdays 6 box ZERO!

* Upon a closer inspection of the 58P franklin, it turned out to be a Mint-State 1958P Business Strike with a Type2 Proof Reverse!*

Bought ten rolls earlier today from two different banks. This is what I got.

67s - 5
68s - 12
69 - 1

and one 63 Canadian half. Not bad for my first ever roll hunt.

@jrk2108 - keep plugging away and eventually you will find stashes of CWR's... even at banks that are usually dry, you can still find gems. I found a silver half at my dump bank today - AFTER dumping $1,000 on them! (I successfully manipulated ::cough:: rationalized that since they ship out halves by the thousand, that it was logical for them to give me all they had, and then they could clear out their vault and have exactly $1,000, and ship themselves clean.

I made a detailed analysis of my hunting the last three days, keeping track of all banks visited, what I found there, and names of tellers to visit next time, or to avoid.

Total of last three days: 50 banks - 48 x 40%, 5 x '64, 1 x Franklin

54 silver halves /50 banks = 1.08 silver halves per bank
9 banks with silver/50 banks = 18% of banks carried silver
54 silver halves/9 banks with silver = 6 silver halves per bank that carried silver

Keep in mind this includes a large find of 20+ silver halves at one location. I also found 50 notes of old currency (1 red seal $2, 49 blue seal $1.), and six Mint rolls of modern halves ('01, '05, and '07 P-D each.)

Anyone else have any stats?

@90percenters - those are great numbers for boxes. My String boxes always are terrible, with maybe a few NIFC's. Have you ever got bags? One bank manager mentioned having ordered a $200 bag of halves once, but he was vague, and I've never heard of such an order.

Wow, you guys are doing great! I cleaned out my dump bank today (someone must be ordering small numbers of rolls because this is the second time I found 1 full box and one partial box at that branch). $810 dollars worth gave up 1 90%, 20 40% and a pile of NIFCs (including 3 holes). I ordered two more boxes from that location since if someone else can I guess I can too.

Not the mega-scores like the guys above, but not bad by my standards. Sure beats dimes!

I'm guessing that we'll, on the whole, continue to have better finds into the coming months and then it will probably drop off again.

Just got back from BofA as they were supposed to have a box for me. Got word their vault @ Loomis is empty. I live in the DFW area and they are out of halves!

SilverFossil. I haven't had the best of luck with my BofA boxes...pulled probably a handful of coins from their boxes.
