YES! I found a local bank that will order them for me. It took awhile.

I'm averaging 1 40% per box. I did get a little something extra out of this week's tho.

Great finds. I have yet to find a single proof from any denomination, let alone from years that were meant for collectors only.

The greyish wrapped halves in my last two boxes have not given up much. I have found some decent 198x P&D coins, but most are simply 197x coins or 199x coins of no value.

I hope my next two are the YELLOW wrapped ones which did me decently overall.

Odd thing is the last two grey wrapped boxes came from the same bank, in the same boxes, from the same
delivery company (Brinks).

Maybe better luck on #7 and #8.

Here's what I found this weekend. Went through two $1,000 bags of halves:

1) 1946 Walking Liberty
1) 1964 Kennedy
2) 1965 Kennedy
2) 1966 Kennedy
2) 1967 Kennedy
1) 1968 Kennedy
1) 1969 Kennedy

Getting another $2,000 worth this week and will post results.

Picked up a $500 bag today, from my CU's counter. Not one single keeper...28 cents in clad dimes, nickel and cents tho.

I stopped at a few banks I had not been to in a couple of months. I found one 1969 Kennedy from $4.50 in loose halves. I'll take it.

What does "CU's counter" stand for? I am still trying to get some of the jargon.

I assume he went to his Credit Union and bought a bag of half dollars which they'd accumulated from their coin counting machine.

Thanks for the information. Seeing how I also get some from my "CU", I will know what
to say next time and save some typing.

I appreciate it.
