Did 2 boxes from two different CUs this week. Later found that both are serviced by Loomis.
First box yielded :

Second box yielded :
1964 P 1967 P 1968 D 1969 D 2004 P 2007 P and a lot of AU/BU 1996 scattered throughout the whole box

No. They have several branches in town and all have coin counting machines in the lobby. I just deposit the coins into my account.

What I'm curious about is the coin machines filling up. I noticed in one I use it just has clear plastic bags hanging in the bottom for each coin type, and putting in $1-2k just in halves would more than fill a bag ( assuming it's $500 per bag ). So does the machine seal the full bag and reload a new one by itself, leaving the full bag on the bottom of the machine, or does a teller have to come service the machine every $500 in halves... or? I mainly ask this because up til now I've only done $500 at a time, but I'm wanting to start doing 2+ boxes at a time and don't want to upset any banks if I can help it.

I asked a bank teller a few weeks ago about what you are asking and he told me that they can set the counting machine to the amount coins they want in each bag and from what I seen the bag can only hold about $250 halves it can hold more but then it becomes to heavy for most tellers to carry. I only bring back about $200 at a time to keep them from getting mad at me and at different branches.

The local bank I deal with said the bag can hold $1000.00 in half's before having to be changed and its done by a teller.
She has to open the coin counting machine, remove the full bag, replace with new bag, close machine, reset etc.
I watched her replace one- its so heavy they have to roll a cart over to place it on and wheel it away.

You talk about luck! On Good Friday I stopped at a branch of my bank to see if any of the tellers had any Kennedys. She had 14 and 11 of them were 40% SILVER!!

Bah, I stopped in Thursday at my bank and asked the teller if she had any halfs. She looked at me funny and said no, asked the other tellers, all no's. HMM.

Searched 2 fed boxes last night but found no silver.
I did find 11 rolls of 1995-P BU coins. Does anyone know if they are worth saving.
I'm really only into silver, but would sell these if I could make a few bucks.

My bank teller forgot to order my boxes this week :( The good news is that I got an Ike dollar when I dropped off the last box rejects.

95-P is not considered a key date, however, since they are BU I would hang on to a few rolls for later on.

After saving 10 of each from previous boxes, I turn them back in. I would save a few of the best ones.
