(1) 1988-S (1) 1987-S Loved seeing this one. (1) 1981-S (1) 1986-S (1) 1993-S (4) NIFCs Also found a 1972 with Doubling in "GOD". Note I have found the silver in the 259.8 g range with the 1964 coming in at 260.4 g. All this and still only a quarter of the way through. I am LOVING this. Report this Post to the Staff

Box 353 1966 1968d Box 354 NIFC x2 Box 355 1967 1968d x5 1974s proof 2008s proof NIFC x2 Box 356 1966 x2 fresh boxes from another bank Box 357 1964d 1966 1967 x3 1968d 1969s proof Box 358 1967 x3 1968d x6 1999s silver proof NIFC x3 Box 359 1964 1967 x4 1968d x2 1969d x2 1976s proof NIFC x1 Box 360 1942s 1954d 1964d x3 1967 1968d x5 1969d x2 1991s proof NIFC x4 why does anyone weigh the rolls? it doesn't tell you anything about the coins. here's four with enders I weighed before opening. ROLL 1 weighed 227.5g FOUND 1 1964 ROLL 2 weighed 226.8g FOUND 1 1964 + 1 1991 proof ROLL 3 weighed 226.1g FOUND 1 1967 ROLL 4 weighed 226.0g FOUND 3 1968d seems like a good waste of time. Did the guy have those coins in a coinlock?Obviously you saw them marked, what did the bank say about that? I have a guy around here that marks with a slash across the face of alot of coins, one time I got a box that was 95% marked like that, upon returning them rerolled the teller was opening a bunch of rolls, probually 10, and checking heights...etc... he was kind of giving me grief about the marks, I explained they were like that when I got them, I dont think he believed me, it was pretty uncomfortable. Hopefuly you dont have that problem returning those. I read on another forum, a guy in jersey or new york had pictures of a whole box layed out on a bench, that he sprayed orange, maybe those are his? I also read on tha forum, that sm mark guy is from california, so dont know if those coins are from those guys or not. Anyway just really curious what the bank said about that guy bringing in those marked coins? Report this Post to the Staff

Especially since it looks like you have that orange spraying guy ( ) as competition. Where I used to live I had not found a silver coins for many years. When I moved here I found 2 quarters, a few dimes, an IHC and an 1898 nickel on change! So I expected when I started to roll search JFKs in this locale it would be a good area for it. I am up to box 8 and the only silver I have gotten has been the ones I posted just yesterday. It leaves me puzzled as to why/how this all works. While he was cashing in me and the teller had a back and forth from his window and where I was in line still about the markings on the coins. anyways the coins that he dumped last Thursday made their way into my Tuesday pickup from a completely different bank. BTW, the orange pics from above were from 3 separate boxes out of four, around 45 rolls total out of 200 in 4 boxes, and still managed to pull 10 silver out of them. The rest of my haul came from s&s boxes which we all know are sealed. Also SM is from up north of here, my new bank manager knows who he is as well. So, the actions of your so called "competition" seem a bit juvenile. As for weighing rolls, I do normally do a quick run through and weigh mine. Normally, I get a pretty good read on which will more likely contain silver. When I see a 260.4 or better, I know it is likely a 1964 or the like and the anticipation builds. Now, this being said, I still go through all rolls and check each coin. If I did not, I would not have found my new 1972 DDO or my earlier 1972-D No FG. For me, it is like adding a clock to a traditional chess game. The game could be played without it, but the new element makes it a bit more exciting. Report this Post to the Staff

I was told that last week was the first time he dumped at my regular pickup bank. 6 days later I pull out the massive piles from a different bank altogether.
