half hunter, congrats on the 69-s; I found one a few weeks ago and have been debating what to do with it, thinking of putting it in with some other 40% to complete a roll and selling on ebay rather than selling it individually, hmmm don't know, maybe post it on coincommunity to trade for a Buffalo nickel with full horn.

Thanks, I did sell a few rolls at face to my local shop to give out as change I would have loved to been able to have them go to a collector but I had to turn it back to cash right away.

hey basicbob, I'm just gonna trade my 69 proof to my brother in law for a junk 40% kennedy. Iv got a dansco for kennedys, the big one with proofs book. Iv only purchased the 2 1964 90%, allthough iv found one roll hunting iv got a bunch, I have aquired, also purchased the 1960's sms coins, the 1960" proofs, and bought the 92, and 98 silver 90%, yes I cracked the special mint sets open for those 2. I'm only missing 2 of the 2000 decade proofs, the 79 type 1 and 2's, the rest of the coins Iv aquired from roll hunting, also need the 76 silver BU, did find the 76 proof. Also obviously need all the 92 and newer 90%, never found one of those. So not bad from roll hunting, but I will cross that 69 S off my list of being found roll hunting.

Quote: I offer them to the community (like here) to help out other fellow hunters before throwing them back Very good point Wrestling! I wish I could have.... I literally had 2 hours until the $ needed to go elsewhere - haha... those pics are from my car - sat in the parking lot, called dealers, checked ebay (if there was like 50% profit I would have figured something out), went to the grocery store bank - got some wrappers - off to my dump bank. I call it the parking lot blitz. (I think I need professional help... ahaha) In the future I will definitely see if any of the members are interested before dumping - God knows I've received so much from these forums... time to give back.

Just got done with box 9 and 10. Quite a few NIFC (including a 2009P which I had not found before) and one 40% 1968! I was surprised by the 68 since it took me until boxes 7&8 to find any silver. I expected another 4 box non-silver run . I do not mind no silver though as I REALLY want to find a 72 and a 74 DDO. I still have no problem finding the 71D DDOs and have stopped looking for them.

Just picked up 4 boxes, been 2 months since I looked through any. On another note the teller told me the courier told her if the person who ordered these is looking for silver they will not find any because the people doing the rolling are culling them out I hope not

Just finished the first box of the four I got today. Found 1 Franklin, 1, 1966, and 2 1967 looks like the rollers are not doing a good job culling them, thank God. I will post picture when I finish all 4 boxes

ihittheskislopes when I say rolling I mean the processing center were they roll the coins. I sure when they dump the coins if the see a nice shiny silver one they pluck it out, I would.

Yea I know, I've heard the roumor I just dont belive it 1. I dont think they would let the empolyees take money out 2. ifs its the company them selves doing it I dont think it would pay off much to pay people 10 dollars an hour and hold up production just to pull a few OZs an hour maybe if silver was a couple hundred an OZ

Is it still wort it to hunt for Silver? It looks like every body doing it. Those coins are going in and out the bank from one collector to another. Last time, I bought $500, 1000 coins, I got nothing.
