4 boxes since I last posted.
one 40% 68D
one 72D no FG
one 2011 D
one 2009D
one horrible 2003 D I threw back.
Several 2001 P&Ds also catch and release.

I also got 4 rolls of customer wrapped halves - hoping for something good, but... oh well.

Got to find my stats papers from each to update my totals!

I normally just do dimes, but my teller told me she had $15 of loose halves, so I decided to try them. They got me:
1 x 1969-D
3 x 1968-D
3 x 1967

In the future I will always get any halves my bank has!

I don't think many realize the silver value especially the 65to70 halves

Just finished box #1.

2 1967
I found them in the last 2 rolls. I thought this box was going to be a skunk for silver.

1 2002-P
2 2005-D
1 2005-P
1 2007-D
4 2008-D
3 2008-P
1 2009-P
I can't believe the number of 2008's. I have only found 2 2008-D's up to this point. I found it odd to find this many in one box.

Also, I found some really nice BU 1999's and 1971's. They really stood out. The edges looked flawless. Just out of the ordinary.

On to box #2.

Finished Box #2.

Almost a complete skunk. No silver and only 2 2006-D's.

I think these coins were mostly someone's dump. There were numerous coins that were marked on the edge. Also, this box contained far more 2001's than Box #1.

I plan on taking the coins to work tomorrow and giving them a acetone bath to remove any markings. This way they will be nice and clean for the next person to sort through.

Posted at the CRH forum also.

Two boxes:
32 nice Unc. cameo clad proofs from the 80's and 90's
2 Unc. 1996 90% silver proofs.
1 40%
1 64-D with gold plated devices.
The first box only yielded the one 40%
Rest were all from the second box.
Lousy pic. but one anyway :)
I found 4 more clad proofs after I took the pic.

After this blunder at the bank: https://goccf.com/t/134629

What I left out of that story was as the teller opened the drawer to get my money, I noticed in his sorting tray almost $10 worth of halves. However, because the guy was so flustered with the dimes, I didn't get them. Kicking myself for not checking. I vow never to not ask another teller again to check their halves. =)

Ben, I sell all my 40%ers to add to my payroll or buy coins with. I sold 10 rolls this week, netted $810 after the cost of the coins themselves. Reimbursed myself $100 for gas costs, dropped 30% into savings to cover my tax liability, and am left with $500 to spend on whatever the heck I want.

Yeehaw! I got another 74 D DDO out of a box!

Also got a 2004D, a 2002D NIFC, and one of the nicest looking 72Ds I have ever seen. This was out of 3 boxes though, so although the numbers are low, I like what I found.
